Latiefa Mobara is the former executive director of the Press Council of SA. She has worked as a journalist in South African mainstream and community media for more than 20 years.
From 1998 to 2021 she worked as executive director for the South African National Editors’ Forum. Mobara has also been involved in media training, counselling of survivors of gender-based violence and worked as a part-time literacy teacher.
